BRAT SOUR
BRAT SOUR
30ml gin
30ml midori or melon liqueur
30ml lemon juice
15ml sugar syrup*
1 handful fresh basil leaves (washed)
1 egg white
Garnish: dehydrated lime wheel
Add all ingredients into a cocktails shaker and dry shake (no ice) hard for 15 seconds. Open shaker and fill one side with ice cubes and then wet shake for another 15 seconds before double straining into chilled coupe glass and finishing with a dehydrated lime wheel on top.
*sugar syrup is 1 part boiling water with 2 parts caster sugar, poured over sugar and mixed quickly with spoon.
