MONSTER MASH

30ml vodka
30ml melon liqueur
30ml lemon juice
15ml basil syrup*
8 fresh basil leaves
1 egg white
Garnish: honey and green food dye

Start with your garnish. On plate add a drizzle of honey and a few drops of green food dye. Mix it together with a spoon until because tacky but loose. Rim your glass with it a few times and allow it to drop down. Place in freezer until ready to use.

For cocktail place all ingredients into a cocktail shaker and dry shake hard to foam it up for 15 seconds hard. Fill with ice and shake hard again for 15 seconds. Double strain over a large ice cube into your frozen slime dripped glass. Enjoy responsibly.

*basil syrup

1 small bunch basil
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup water

Remove leaves from basil stems and place to the side. Add stems, sugar and water over low heat and bring to a high simmer. Allow to simmer for 5 minutes before adding in your basil leaves for one minute. Place in container in fridge overnight to steep and then strain when ready to use.
